• Im Hallertau (Bayern/Deutschland), in dem laut Barth Report 2001/2002 mehr als ein Viertel der gesamten Welthopfenproduktion angebaut wird, wurde die Hopfenernte in diesem Jahr parallel zur üblichen Handbonitierung im Rahmen der „Neutralen Qualitätsfeststellung“ mit dem LemnaTec Scanalyzer System aufgenommen und automatisch bonitiert. In diesem Testlauf soll die Übertragbarkeit der herkömmlichen Bonitierung auf ein objektives und automatisches System geprüft werden. Zum weiteren Vergleich kam im Anbaugebiet Tettnang ein zweiter LemnaTec Scanalyzer zum Einsatz. Weitere Infos gibt es hier

• ISO guideline CD 20079 Duckweed growth inhibition test

A big step forward to international bio-testing with higher plants At the ISO meeting in Florida May, 2002 a broad international consensus accepted the duckweed growth inhibition test as the first growth inhibition test only based on calculation of growth rate. A similar consensus was achieved for algae.
The duckweed test will now be prepared for an ISO DIS version taking into account the high priority of higher plant testing. For further information please contact: matthias.eberius@lemnatec.de
